This project helps utility companies understand why some customers switch to competitors, especially in competitive markets. It takes historical customer usage, pricing, and churn data to identify key factors, particularly price sensitivity, that predict which small to medium-sized businesses are likely to leave. The output is a predictive model and insights that can inform strategies to retain at-risk customers, used by strategists or business analysts at an energy provider.
