Using machine learning models to predict the outcome of a horse race, and run backtesting to see if we can profit from betting
This project helps horse racing enthusiasts and bettors predict race outcomes and assess potential profits. By analyzing historical Hong Kong race data, it predicts winning horses or top-three finishes. The output is a prediction on which horses to bet on, along with backtesting results showing estimated profits from different betting strategies.
