This project helps robotics enthusiasts and researchers explore self-driving car concepts using an affordable RC car as a testbed. You provide an RC car equipped with a steering servo, an Android device, an Arduino, and a few other components. The system then captures image data and corresponding steering/speed commands from a human driver, which are used to train a deep learning model. The output is a trained model that can autonomously steer the RC car based on live camera input.

No commits in the last 6 months.

Use this if you want a cost-effective, hands-on platform to learn about and experiment with deep learning models for autonomous steering, without needing a full-scale self-driving car.

Not ideal if you are looking for a commercial-grade, ready-to-deploy autonomous vehicle solution or if you don't enjoy assembling electronics and programming microcontrollers.
