numisveinsson/SeqSeg
SeqSeg (Sequential Segmentations)
This project helps medical professionals, like radiologists and cardiologists, automatically identify and track blood vessels in CT and MR scans. You input a medical image and one or two starting points, and it outputs a complete 3D segmentation (a detailed map) of the vascular tree. This tool is designed for specialists who need to visualize and measure vessels for diagnosis or surgical planning.
Available on PyPI.
Use this if you need to quickly and accurately segment complex vessel structures from medical images with minimal manual effort.
Not ideal if you primarily work with 2D images or require extremely fast, real-time segmentation for intraoperative guidance without any setup.
