Deep Open Intent Classification with Adaptive Decision Boundary (AAAI 2021)
This tool helps categorize user requests or text snippets, even when they fall outside of pre-defined categories. It takes conversational data or short texts and classifies them into known 'intents' while also identifying entirely new, unknown intents. A product manager, customer service lead, or market researcher could use this to better understand user needs and emerging topics.
No commits in the last 6 months.
Use this if you need to classify incoming customer inquiries, support tickets, or survey responses, and expect to encounter new types of requests you haven't seen before.
Not ideal if you only need to classify text into a fixed set of categories and are certain no new types of inquiries will ever arise.
