usnistgov/ns3-oran
A module that can be used to model and simulate O-RAN-like behavior in ns-3.
This module helps wireless network researchers and developers simulate and model Open Radio Access Network (O-RAN) architectures within the ns-3 network simulator. You can input various network scenarios and O-RAN configurations, and it produces detailed simulation results and logs stored in an SQLite database. This is for professionals building or studying O-RAN solutions.
Use this if you need to design, test, or analyze O-RAN compliant network functions, such as Near-Real Time RICs and E2 terminators, in a simulated environment.
Not ideal if you are looking for a physical O-RAN implementation or a general network simulation tool that doesn't focus on O-RAN specifications.
