This repository demonstrates an end-to-end pipeline for real-time Facial emotion recognition application through full-stack development. The frontend is developed in react.js and the backend is developed in FastAPI. The emotion prediction model is built with Tensorflow Keras, and for real-time face detection with animation on the frontend, Tensorflow.js have been used.
This project helps you instantly understand and visualize human emotions from live video feeds. It takes real-time video input from a webcam, analyzes facial expressions frame by frame, and outputs the dominant emotion (like happy, sad, angry) along with the probabilities of seven different emotions. This tool is ideal for developers and researchers who need to integrate real-time facial emotion detection into their applications or studies.
