Legilibre/legi.py
Outils de manipulation des archives LEGI (lois françaises)
This project helps legal professionals, researchers, or data journalists create and maintain a structured database of French laws from the official LEGI archives. It takes raw LEGI data and converts it into a clean, normalized SQLite database, allowing for easier analysis, tracking legislative changes, and identifying inconsistencies.
No commits in the last 6 months. Available on PyPI.
Use this if you need a local, searchable, and up-to-date database of French legislation for in-depth legal research, historical analysis, or custom data applications.
Not ideal if you only need to look up individual laws occasionally, as it requires setting up and maintaining a local database.
