MultiplEYE-COST/wg1-experiment-implementation
In this repository we keep the code for the implementation of the eye-tracking experiment for the COST action MultiplEYE. The eye-tracking-while-reading experiment is implemented using Python.
This project provides the tools to set up and run eye-tracking experiments for reading in multiple languages. It takes your prepared linguistic stimuli and participant questionnaires, runs participants through the experiment using an eye-tracker, and outputs detailed log files and eye-tracking data for each participant. Researchers in linguistics, psychology, or cognitive science who study reading processes would use this to collect empirical data.
Use this if you are a researcher needing to conduct eye-tracking-while-reading experiments across various languages and want a standardized, configurable framework for data collection.
Not ideal if you are looking for a general-purpose eye-tracking analysis tool or if your research does not involve reading tasks.
