We predict religion from personal names only.
This helps researchers and analysts determine an individual's likely religion or race/ethnicity based solely on their name. You input a list of names, optionally with a parent/spouse's name for religion inference or zip code information for race/ethnicity, and the system outputs the predicted religion (e.g., Hindu, Muslim, Christian) or race/ethnicity probabilities (e.g., Asian, Black, White). This is useful for social scientists, demographers, or anyone studying population characteristics.

Use this if you need to infer religion for South Asian names or race/ethnicity for US names (based on North Carolina voter data) from a list of names for research or analytical purposes.
Not ideal if you are looking to predict religion or race/ethnicity for names outside of South Asia or the US, or if you need highly accurate individual-level classifications for sensitive applications.
