amankedia/Question-Classification
Classifying questions from UIUC's CogComp QC Dataset
This tool automatically sorts incoming questions into categories like "person," "location," or "numeric." It takes raw question text as input and assigns it to one of 6 broad or 50 specific categories. Anyone who needs to understand the type of information a question is asking for, such as researchers, educators, or customer support managers, would find this useful.
No commits in the last 6 months.
Use this if you need to quickly and consistently categorize a large volume of questions based on their semantic intent.
Not ideal if your questions are highly domain-specific and require categorization beyond general types (e.g., specific legal clauses or medical conditions).
