Few-Shot Cross-Lingual Stance Detection with Sentiment-Based Pre-Training
This project helps you understand public opinion by analyzing text to determine whether the author supports, opposes, or is neutral towards a specific topic, product, or idea. It takes social media posts, news articles, or other textual content as input and outputs the detected viewpoint, even when dealing with multiple languages or limited examples for a new topic. Market researchers, political analysts, or social listening professionals can use this to gauge sentiment across diverse linguistic sources.
No commits in the last 6 months.
Use this if you need to quickly assess public viewpoints on a specific target across many languages, especially when you have only a small amount of labeled data for that target or language.
Not ideal if your primary need is general sentiment analysis (positive/negative emotional tone) rather than target-specific viewpoint detection.
