i-dot-ai/themefinder
A topic modelling Python package for analysing one-to-many question-answer data.
This tool helps you quickly understand the main topics and sentiments within large sets of free-text responses from surveys or public consultations. You provide the raw text answers, and it automatically organizes them into clear themes and even analyzes the emotional tone of each response. It's designed for policy analysts, researchers, or anyone in government or public sector roles who needs to make sense of citizen feedback.
Available on PyPI.
Use this if you need to rapidly categorize and understand key discussion points and sentiments from open-ended survey questions or consultation responses without manually reading every single one.
Not ideal if your project is for a critical use case, as this is currently an incubation project being trialled for research purposes.
