The official code of the 2023 ACL paper "Enhancing Grammatical Error Correction Systems with Explanations"
This project helps language learners understand why a grammar correction system suggests specific changes. You input an original sentence with errors and receive the corrected sentence, along with highlighted 'evidence words' that explain the reasoning behind each correction and the grammatical error type. It's designed for anyone learning a new language or aiming to improve their writing accuracy and comprehension of grammar rules.
No commits in the last 6 months.
Use this if you are a language learner who wants to not just fix grammatical errors but also understand the underlying reasons for those corrections to improve your language skills.
Not ideal if you simply need quick, unexplained grammar fixes for basic proofreading without needing to learn from the corrections.
