Analyzing social media sentiment and its impact on stock market
This project helps financial analysts and traders understand how social media sentiment might influence stock market prices. It takes a list of companies you care about and streams live Twitter data related to them, then analyzes the sentiment of those tweets. By comparing this sentiment to real-time stock prices, it provides insights that can be queried from a database to inform trading decisions.
No commits in the last 6 months.
Use this if you are a quantitative trader or financial analyst looking to integrate real-time social media sentiment as a factor in your stock market analysis and trading strategies.
Not ideal if you need a pre-built user interface for reports and configuration, or if you primarily track stocks not listed on NASDAQ.
