SYARA: Super YARA Rules for GenAI Era
This project helps security analysts and incident responders efficiently identify malicious content and suspicious patterns, especially in natural language. It takes a collection of data, such as network traffic, documents, or web pages, and applies powerful rules to detect threats like malware, phishing attempts, or AI prompt injections. The output is an alert or identification of specific content that matches these rules, helping security professionals quickly pinpoint and address risks.
Available on PyPI.
Use this if you need to detect subtle, semantically similar threats or complex AI-related attacks (like prompt injections or disinformation) that traditional keyword-based rules often miss.
Not ideal if you are exclusively looking for exact string or simple regex matches and do not need advanced semantic analysis or AI-powered detection capabilities.
