Natural Language to Overpass Query Language

/ 100
Experimental

This project helps urban planners, geographers, and researchers easily get specific location data from OpenStreetMap. You provide a question or request in plain English, and it gives you the exact Overpass Query Language (OverpassQL) code needed to retrieve that information from the OpenStreetMap database. This means you don't need to learn a complex query language to find things like all bakeries within a certain radius or specific types of buildings in a neighborhood.

Use this if you need to extract precise geographical data from OpenStreetMap using natural language, without having to write complex OverpassQL queries manually.

Not ideal if you're only interested in basic map viewing or general location searches that don't require highly specific data extraction from OpenStreetMap.
