ArMATH: The Arabic Math Word Problem dataset. Accepted in LREC2022
This project provides the first large-scale dataset for Arabic Math Word Problems (MWPs). It takes primary-school level math problems written in Modern Standard Arabic and outputs an equation to solve them. Educators, curriculum developers, and AI researchers focused on natural language processing in Arabic would use this to build and evaluate models that automatically solve these problems.
