Encyclopedic Hub for Sentiment Dictionaries

Emerging

This project offers a central place to find, use, and manage expert-curated lists of words with assigned sentiment scores, known as sentiment dictionaries. It helps researchers and analysts quickly perform sentiment analysis on text data. You input text, and by using these specialized dictionaries, it tells you the sentiment expressed in that text. Anyone analyzing opinions or emotions in text, such as social scientists, marketers, or political researchers, would find this useful.

Available on PyPI.

Use this if you need to perform rule-based sentiment analysis on text and require access to a diverse collection of pre-existing, high-quality sentiment dictionaries for various domains like finance, social media, or general English.

Not ideal if you need a machine learning-based sentiment model that trains on your specific dataset, or if your primary goal is to build new sentiment lexicons from scratch without leveraging existing resources.
