soumyajit4419/AI_For_Social_Good
Using natural language processing to analyze the sentiments of people and detect suicidal ideation on online social content.
This project helps mental health professionals and organizations identify individuals at risk of suicide by analyzing their posts on social media platforms like Reddit and Twitter. It takes text content from these platforms as input and outputs a classification indicating potential suicidal ideation. Mental health counselors, social workers, or crisis intervention teams could use this to monitor online conversations.
No commits in the last 6 months.
Use this if you need to automatically screen large volumes of social media text to identify posts that may signal suicidal ideation.
Not ideal if you require real-time, instantaneous alerts for individual posts rather than batch analysis, or if you need to analyze platforms other than Reddit and Twitter.
