SFST/SMOR/DWDS-based German Morphology
This tool helps researchers, linguists, or anyone working with German text to understand and manipulate word forms. It takes a German word and provides its base form (lemma) and full grammatical breakdown, or, given a base word and grammatical features, it generates all its possible inflected forms. The ideal user is a computational linguist or lexicographer working on German natural language processing tasks.
Use this if you need to programmatically analyze or generate inflected forms of written German words, such as finding the root word for 'ging' (gehen) or creating all conjugations for 'lesen'.
Not ideal if you need a morphology tool for spoken German, informal language, or languages other than German.
