d4tagirl/uruguayan_parliamentary_session_diary
Code for my blog post about text mining uruguayan Parliamentary sessions 🇺🇾
This project helps political scientists, journalists, or policy researchers analyze the content of Uruguayan parliamentary sessions. It takes official session diaries from the Uruguayan Parliament's website as input and produces insights into session frequency, common keywords, sentiment, and key topics discussed by both Deputies and Senators. Anyone studying Uruguayan politics or legislative discourse would find this useful.
No commits in the last 6 months.
Use this if you need pre-scraped and analyzed data on Uruguayan parliamentary discussions from early 2017 to early 2018.
Not ideal if you require real-time analysis, data beyond the specified timeframe, or highly nuanced sentiment analysis for Spanish without further lexicon development.
