An MCP tool that provides AI with the ability to compress and decompress local files.
This is a developer tool that adds file compression and decompression capabilities to AI clients that support the Model Context Protocol (MCP). It takes file paths or directories as input and produces ZIP archives or extracted files, along with metadata about existing ZIP files. AI developers or users of advanced AI clients can integrate this to give their AI the ability to manage local files.
Available on npm.
Use this if you are developing an AI application or using an AI client (like Claude, Raycast with MCP plugin, or Cursor) and need to enable the AI to compress, decompress, or inspect local ZIP files.
