A Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for GreptimeDB
This project acts as a bridge, allowing AI assistants to understand and interact with your GreptimeDB, an observability database. It takes natural language requests from an AI assistant and translates them into SQL or TQL queries to retrieve and analyze metrics, logs, and traces. Operations engineers, site reliability engineers, or data analysts who manage and monitor system performance can use this.
Use this if you want to empower your AI assistant to query and analyze time-series data, logs, and traces stored in GreptimeDB using plain language, making data exploration more intuitive.
Not ideal if you need to perform write operations (like INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE) on your GreptimeDB data via an AI assistant, as this tool is strictly read-only for security.
