MCP server for IBM i systems
This project helps IT operations and system administrators connect AI tools directly to their IBM i systems. It takes natural language queries or prompts from AI agents like Claude or VSCode Copilot and translates them into secure SQL operations on Db2 for i databases. This allows administrators to monitor performance, get system information, and automate tasks using conversational AI.
Available on npm.
Use this if you want to integrate modern AI agents with your existing IBM i systems to streamline monitoring, troubleshooting, and administrative tasks.
Not ideal if you do not use IBM i systems or if your primary need is not to connect AI agents for system interaction.
