WolfgangFahl/py-3rdparty-mediawiki
Wrapper for pywikibot and mwclient MediaWiki API librarties with improvements for 3rd party wikis and mcp-server
This toolkit helps content managers, wiki administrators, and knowledge managers automate repetitive tasks on MediaWiki sites, including those without Semantic MediaWiki. You can input criteria like categories or page titles, and it outputs updated, copied, or deleted wiki pages and uploaded files. It's designed for anyone who manages a MediaWiki site and needs to handle content programmatically.
Use this if you need to bulk transfer pages between wikis, upload many files, perform search-and-replace across multiple pages, or mass-delete content on your MediaWiki site.
Not ideal if you only manage content manually through the wiki interface or if you are not comfortable using command-line tools.
