Shoe store WebMCP Demo for Google Chrome
This project is a demonstration of how a conversational AI, like a large language model, can interact with a website to perform tasks. It takes natural language prompts, such as "Suggest the 3 best pairs of soccer shoes (foot size 45) available on this site. Add (one of suggestions) to cart and complete purchase," and translates them into actions on a web page. This allows an AI to browse, filter, add to cart, and potentially complete purchases on an e-commerce site, acting on behalf of a user. The end-user persona would be a developer exploring advanced browser automation with AI.
Use this if you are a developer experimenting with agentic browser capabilities and want to understand how WebMCP allows an LLM to interact with and control web pages.
Not ideal if you are looking for a consumer-ready tool to automate online shopping, as this is a technical demo for developers.
