MetaMCP collapses N child MCP servers into 4 tools
This project helps large language models (LLMs) interact with many different tools and services more efficiently. Instead of directly connecting your LLM to numerous separate tools like Playwright, databases, or GitHub, MetaMCP acts as a central hub. It takes all these individual tool connections as input and presents a simplified set of just 6 tools to your LLM, improving performance and reducing operational complexity. Developers building AI agents or integrating LLMs with diverse systems will find this useful.
Use this if you are building an AI agent and need to connect your LLM to a large number of different external tools without overwhelming the LLM's context window or managing each connection individually.
Not ideal if your LLM only needs to interact with one or two simple tools, as the overhead of MetaMCP might not provide significant benefits.
