misiektoja/kill-process-mcp
AI-powered cross-platform MCP server exposing LLM-accessible tools to list and terminate OS processes via natural language queries
This project helps you manage your computer's running programs using natural language. You can simply tell an AI assistant, like Claude Desktop or Cursor, what processes you want to find or terminate. It takes your spoken or typed requests and acts on them, showing you lists of processes or shutting down rogue applications. This is ideal for anyone who wants to quickly identify and remove unwanted or resource-hogging programs without digging through task managers.
Available on PyPI.
Use this if you want to use natural language to find and terminate programs running on your macOS, Windows, or Linux computer.
Not ideal if you prefer to manage processes manually through a graphical interface or command line, or if you don't use an AI assistant.
