[EMNLP 2024] This is the code for our paper "BMRetriever: Tuning Large Language Models as Better Biomedical Text Retrievers".
This project helps biomedical researchers and practitioners quickly find relevant information from large collections of scientific articles and medical texts. It takes a specific scientific claim or question and efficiently retrieves the most pertinent documents that either support or refute it. The output is a ranked list of biomedical passages most relevant to your query.
