Code for "Simultaneous Face Hallucination and Translation for Thermal to Visible Face Verification using Axial-GAN"
This project helps security and surveillance professionals verify people's identities from challenging camera footage. It takes low-resolution thermal face images and converts them into high-resolution visible light images. This allows existing facial recognition systems to accurately identify individuals, even when they are far from the camera.

Use this if you need to perform face verification in long-range surveillance scenarios where only low-resolution thermal images are available.
Not ideal if your primary goal is general image translation or if you only work with high-resolution visible light images.
