This project helps deaf or hard-of-hearing individuals communicate more easily with people who don't understand American Sign Language (ASL). It takes live video of ASL fingerspelling, converts it into text, and then speaks the text aloud. The tool is designed for anyone who uses ASL and wishes to bridge communication gaps in real-time conversations.

Use this if you are deaf or hard-of-hearing and want to have spontaneous conversations with people unfamiliar with ASL.

Not ideal if you need to translate complex ASL grammar beyond fingerspelling, or if you require perfect accuracy in all lighting conditions and backgrounds.
