Pictalk is a free application that helps individuals with speech impediments communicate by using pictograms and pictures. You select images representing what you want to say, and the app converts them into spoken words. This tool is for anyone who struggles with verbal communication, such as people with aphasia, autism, or other speech challenges, as well as their caregivers and educators.
Use this if you or someone you care for needs a visual way to construct sentences and have them spoken aloud.
Not ideal if you need a communication tool that relies solely on typing or advanced predictive text capabilities.
