Indonesian Grapheme-to-Phoneme (IPA notation)
This tool helps linguists, speech therapists, or language educators convert Indonesian text into its phonetic pronunciation, using the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA). You input Indonesian words or sentences as they are spelled, and it outputs the phonetic transcription, including handling tricky sounds like the glottal stop and different 'e' pronunciations. It's designed for anyone who needs to accurately represent or analyze how Indonesian is spoken.
Available on PyPI.
Use this if you need to precisely understand or transcribe the pronunciation of Indonesian words for linguistic analysis, speech training, or educational materials.
Not ideal if you need a tool to convert general text into spoken audio (Text-to-Speech) rather than a phonetic transcription.
