This tool helps anyone working with written content in Visual Studio Code to have their text read aloud. You input a Markdown, text, or Re:View document (or a selection within it), and it converts that written content into spoken audio using your computer's built-in voices. This is useful for writers, editors, or anyone who processes information by listening.

Use this if you want to listen to your text content, check your writing flow by ear, or proofread documents like articles, reports, or code comments within your VSCode editor.
Not ideal if you need advanced features like multiple speaker voices within a single document, highly customized voice profiles beyond system defaults, or conversion of complex file types like PDFs or spreadsheets.
