davidacm/NVDA-IBMTTS-Driver
This project is aimed at developing and maintaining the NVDA IBMTTS driver. IBMTTS is a synthesizer similar to Eloquence. Please send your ideas and contributions here!
This project offers an NVDA add-on that enables the use of the IBMTTS text-to-speech synthesizer for screen reading. It takes text input from various applications and converts it into synthesized speech, helping visually impaired individuals navigate and interact with their computers. The primary users are visually impaired individuals who rely on NVDA for accessibility and prefer the unique voice quality of IBMTTS.
Use this if you are a visually impaired NVDA user who wants to utilize the classic voice and advanced customization features of the IBMTTS synthesizer for your screen reading experience.
Not ideal if you do not already possess the IBMTTS synthesizer libraries or prefer other text-to-speech engines.
