gkrsv/split_audio
A rough and ready Python utility which splits audio files based on silence and desired min/max chunk duration.
This tool helps anyone working with long audio recordings, such as transcribers, podcasters, or researchers, to automatically break them into shorter, manageable segments. You provide a single audio file and specify how long segments should ideally be, along with the minimum silence duration that indicates a good break point. The output is a collection of smaller audio files, making it easier to process or share specific parts.

Use this if you need to automatically divide large audio files into smaller, more digestible clips based on periods of silence and desired segment lengths.
Not ideal if you need to split audio based on specific content cues like spoken words, music changes, or detailed manual timing.
