Python MaryTTS HTTP client library
This is an HTTP client library for the MaryTTS server, making it easier to integrate text-to-speech functionality into Python applications. It takes plain text or phonetic transcriptions as input and generates speech waveforms or IPA phoneme sequences as output. Developers creating Python applications that require speech synthesis would use this.
Used by 1 other package. No commits in the last 6 months. Available on PyPI.
Use this if you are a Python developer and need to add text-to-speech capabilities, including waveform generation and IPA phoneme conversion, to your application, provided a MaryTTS server is running.
Not ideal if you are not a developer or do not have a MaryTTS server set up, as this is a programmatic interface requiring Python knowledge and a running server.
