This desktop program helps ecologists, wildlife researchers, and environmental consultants analyze audio field recordings by automatically identifying bird and some amphibian sounds. You input audio files from your field recordings, and it outputs Audacity label files, marking the species and their prediction scores within the recording. This tool is designed for anyone who needs to efficiently process large volumes of acoustic data to monitor avian populations or conduct bioacoustic research.

Use this if you need a quick and efficient way to scan lengthy audio field recordings for the presence of specific bird species found in Canada and the northern US, and prefer to review findings within Audacity.

Not ideal if your primary interest is in species outside of Canada/Northern US, or if you need to detect a wide range of amphibian species with high accuracy, as testing for them has been limited.
