Implementation of the Descript Audio Codec in MLX
This tool helps audio engineers, podcasters, or content creators significantly reduce the file size of their 44kHz audio while maintaining high quality. You feed it uncompressed audio, and it outputs a much smaller, compressed audio file (a DAC file) that can be easily reconstructed to its original fidelity. It's designed for anyone working with large audio files who needs efficient storage or transfer.
