Parrot helps you listen to any text on your computer by highlighting it and pressing a shortcut. It takes your selected text and instantly reads it aloud in one of nine languages, without needing an internet connection after the initial setup. This tool is for anyone who frequently reads on a screen and prefers to listen, such as students, researchers, or busy professionals.
Use this if you want to quickly convert any on-screen text into spoken audio for easier consumption, without sending your data to external services.
Not ideal if you primarily need to generate audio files for distribution or require highly customized voice styles beyond the available options.
